The project consists of an approximately 6,800 SF addition that house a new 400+ seat auditorium. The new auditorium will include a stage for speakers or performers along with a full immersion baptistry. The new auditorium will have an abundance of large windows to bring in plenty of natural light into the space. The addition will also feature a new start of the art sound and video system. In the back of the auditorium will house the sound/video control area along with a storage room with a roof access ladder. This back area will also serve as overflow seating for large events that could seat another 50-75 people. Also part of the project was remodeling the existing auditorium. This space because the new lobby to serve the auditorium addition. It will be completely remodeled and will house new public restrooms along with a coffee bar area. This space will also be a multi-purpose space that will be used for small gatherings, luncheons, meetings, etc for the church, but also will be used by the St. Francis Christian School, which shares the building with the church. The exterior of the addition will consist of a stucco exterior with stone highlights along with a shingled roof. The existing building will be painted to match the new addition along with the soffits and fascia replaced to also match the new. A new main entrance will also be created off of the existing auditorium area. Also included in the project is a new monument sign located out in front of the parking lot. The existing parking lot will remain but as part of the addition will include a significant parking lot expansion. The new building will commence construction in April of 2025 and is schedule to be completed by the end of the year.
