Miller Breaks ground on Liberty Bank Minnesota Corporate Headquarters

Liberty Bank Minnesota Corporate Headquarters

St. Cloud, MN

Miller Architects & Builders recently started construction on the new two-story Liberty Bank Minnesota headquarters building on 2nd Street South in St. Cloud. The structure will be a total of 12,629 square feet. It will provide space for retail banking, mortgage lending and corporate functions. The bank is also purchasing an adjacent strip mall for servicing, production and other functions. The new facility will provide significant parking and is located on a lighted intersection (across from Tenvoorde Ford). It is much more centralized than their current facility and has easy access from I-94, Hwy. 15 and Division St. Construction is expected to be complete by Labor Day 2018. The new facility will allow Liberty Bank Minnesota to enhance their service capabilities and the new location offers significant room for any needed expansion in the future.

Liberty has operated at its downtown site since it opened as Liberty Loan and Thrift, a subsidiary of the company that preceded Gold’n Plump. The bank was renamed Liberty Bank Minnesota in 2016, and is chartered by the Minnesota Department of commerce as a State Bank.

Liberty has two locations in St. Cloud and also operates facilities in Waite Park, Sartell and Monticello.
