Founded 133 years ago by seven Methodist Settlers, the United Methodist Church in Motley, MN created a powerful and unrelenting presence in northern Minnesota that appealed to a wide variety of people. With the growth United Methodist was experiencing they hired Miller Architects & Builders to help them pursue ideas to expand their existing facility. After a spacial analysis was done it was determined that United Methodist Church was land locked and would not be able to expand enough to accommodate their needs, and it would be more beneficial for them to build new. Property was donated by a member of the community that fit their needs for today and future growth.

The facility features stucco, masonry and steel siding, 225 seat sanctuary, 120 seat multi-purpose fellow hall/narthex, fireside room, commercial kitchen, offices, classrooms and meeting rooms.
