MORA, MN – With construction underway in the background, the Mora Housing and Redevelopment Authority held their groundbreaking ceremony at the Mysa House Apartments Monday, Oct. 30. Nine representatives from various organizations involved in bringing the project to completion spoke during a presentation indoors before digging in their golden shovels.

The apartment is designated for people 55 years of age or over. The new apartment features one and two bedroom units, spacious lobby with a seating area, community room with serving kitchen, dining area and TV/lounge area, conference room, exercise room, on-site nurses office, office, and a family lounge on the second floor. Each unit has a patio or deck. The apartment also has a large covered porch for outside relaxation. Mysa House is being built on the Eastwood Campus near the HRA’s other senior facilities Vasa House and the Eastwood Senior Living Community and Life Enrichment Center.
